Our Offerings
-
At Sankalpa School of Yoga, each class style is thoughtfully designed to support the whole self—body, mind, and energy—while honoring your personal intention (your Sankalpa).
Offerings range from dynamic, strength-building practices like Vinyasa and Power Yoga to slower, alignment-focused Hatha classes that create a strong and steady foundation. For deep release and restoration, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra invite stillness, recovery, and nervous system balance.
Unique offerings like SUP Yoga and seasonal outdoor classes connect movement with nature, while workshops and specialty sessions provide opportunities for deeper learning and transformation.
Every class is accessible and adaptable, meeting you exactly where you are—whether you seek strength, flexibility, rest, or renewal.
In essence:
Sankalpa styles are more than classes—they are intentional experiences designed to help you awaken, align, and transform. -
During a session—often called a sound bath—instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, and tuning forks create waves of sound that gently wash over the body. These vibrations interact with the nervous system, helping shift the body from a state of stress into deep relaxation.
Sound healing works through principles of resonance and entrainment. The frequencies produced can encourage the brain to move into slower states (alpha and theta), where meditation, restoration, and inner awareness naturally occur.
Benefits may include:
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved sleep and relaxation
Emotional release and clarity
Enhanced focus and presence
A deeper connection to self
Rather than something you “do,” sound healing is something you receive. You simply rest, breathe, and allow the vibrations to guide you into stillness.
